  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the biscuit crumbs.
  4. Press the mixture into the base of a greased springform pan.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and caster sugar until smooth.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Stir in the pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt.
  8. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the biscuit base.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until set.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  11. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake.
  12. Sprinkle the pecans on top.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
  14. Serve and enjoy!
