  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
