Potato Samosa Phyllo Triangles
Samosas originated in the Middle East and were brought to India by traders. They have since become a popular street food and snack in Indian cuisine.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add green peas and cook for 2 minutes.

Add mashed potatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let the filling cool.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cut the phyllo pastry sheets into squares.

Take one square sheet and brush it with oil.

Place a spoonful of the potato filling on one corner of the sheet.

Fold the sheet diagonally to form a triangle, enclosing the filling.

Continue folding in a triangle shape until the end of the sheet.

Repeat with the remaining sheets and filling.

Place the samosa triangles on a baking tray and brush them with oil.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
