Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.

Divide the dough into small portions and flatten each portion in your hand.

Place a plum in the center of each flattened dough portion and wrap the dough around it, forming a dumpling.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook for about 10 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

In a pan, melt the butter and lightly fry the dumplings until golden brown.
