  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and baking soda.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
