  5. Spoon a tablespoon of the batter into each muffin cup.
  6. Top each muffin cup with a teaspoon of pizza sauce, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, green bell pepper, and red onion.
  7. Spoon another tablespoon of the batter over the toppings.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
