  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Add the melted chocolate to the remaining cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the chocolate cream cheese mixture over the plain cream cheese mixture in the pan.
  7. Use a knife to swirl the two mixtures together, creating a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove the sides of the springform pan and let the cheesecake cool completely.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  12. Serve with a dollop of sour cream on top, if desired.
