Pesto & Goat Cheese Burger
The combination of pesto and goat cheese adds a delicious and unique flavor to the classic burger.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

Brush the patties with olive oil.

Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of goat cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.

Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute.

Spread pesto sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

Place a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, and red onion slice on top of the pesto sauce.

Place the grilled patty with melted goat cheese on top.

Cover with the top half of the bun.

Let the burgers rest for 5 minutes before serving.
