Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the pumpkin puree, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.

Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set.

Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to cool slowly.

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
