Peel and dice the pumpkin and potatoes.

Chop the onion and mince the garlic.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the diced pumpkin and potatoes to the pot.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Pour in the vegetable broth.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
