Pecan Tassies
Pecan tassies are a bite-sized version of pecan pie, a popular Southern dessert.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, butter, and cream cheese. Mix until a dough forms.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and press each portion into a mini muffin tin to form a crust.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and egg.

Spoon the brown sugar mixture into each crust, filling them about halfway.

Sprinkle pecans on top of each tassie.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Allow the tassies to cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
