Pear Strudel
Strudel is a popular pastry in Austrian cuisine and is often associated with Viennese cuisine. It is made by rolling layers of thin dough with a sweet filling, such as fruit or cheese, and is typically served with powdered sugar on top.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Peel and core the pears, then cut them into thin slices.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it lightly with melted butter.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts evenly over the phyllo dough.

Place another sheet of phyllo dough on top and repeat the process.

Repeat until all phyllo dough sheets are used.

Arrange the sliced pears in a single layer on top of the phyllo dough stack.

Fold the edges of the phyllo dough over the pears and roll the strudel tightly.

Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the top of the strudel with melted butter.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the phyllo dough is golden brown.
