  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together in short intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring continuously.
  5. Sift in the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder, and fold gently until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Dollop spoonfuls of peanut butter and caramel sauce over the batter.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter and caramel, and use a knife to swirl it together.
  9. Sprinkle sea salt over the top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 1 hour.
  12. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
