  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Peel and slice the peaches.
  3. In a 20cm (8-inch) oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Sprinkle the sugar evenly over the melted butter.
  5. Arrange the peach slices in a single layer on top of the sugar.
  6. Cook the peaches for about 5 minutes, until they start to release their juices.
  7. Remove the skillet from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. Place the puff pastry sheet over the peaches, tucking the edges inside the skillet.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  11. Carefully invert the skillet onto a serving plate to release the tarte tatin.
  12. Serve warm and enjoy!
