Add green peas and vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Use an immersion blender or transfer the soup to a blender, and blend until smooth.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
