In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries.

Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch square baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.

Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
