Original Chocolate Chip Cookies
The first chocolate chip cookie was created by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938 when she added chopped up chocolate to her cookie dough, expecting it to melt and create chocolate cookies. Instead, she created the iconic chocolate chip cookie.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
