Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the molasses, egg, orange zest, and orange juice, and mix until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are cracked.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
