Onion-stuffed flat bread, also known as ‘Pyazi ka Paratha’ in Indian cuisine, is a popular street food in North India.

In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and water. Knead until a smooth dough forms. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, finely chop the onions, green chilies, and cilantro.

Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.

Add the green chilies and cilantro to the pan and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll out each portion into a circle.

Place a spoonful of the onion mixture in the center of each circle and fold the edges to seal the filling.

Heat a pan and cook the stuffed flat bread on both sides until golden brown, using the remaining ghee.

Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
