Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the bread into cubes and spread them on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until slightly toasted.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the celery and onion, and cook until they are softened.

In a large bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked celery and onion mixture, chicken broth, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
