  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk-oat mixture.
  7. Stir in the raisins.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto a greased or lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
