Nutty Bars were first introduced by the Little Debbie brand in 1964 and have since become a popular snack in the United States.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract and egg.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the chopped nuts and chocolate chips over the top. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the nuts and chocolate.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
