  2. Drain the beans and rinse them.
  3. In a large pot, add the beans and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour.

  5. In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  6. In a bowl, mix together the sautéed onion and garlic, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  7. Drain the beans and transfer them to a baking dish.
  8. Pour the sauce mixture over the beans and stir to combine.
  9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  11. Let the beans rest for 10 minutes before serving.
