My Perfect Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Chocolate chip cookies were invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938. She owned the Toll House Inn, where she added chunks of Nestle semi-sweet chocolate to her cookie dough, creating the first chocolate chip cookies.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
