  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the sugar, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Peel and chop the apple and orange into small pieces. Add them to the wet mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the walnuts and raisins.
  7. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
