Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture and mix well.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  8. Take a spoonful of dough and flatten it in your hand. Place a milk chocolate truffle in the center and wrap the dough around it, forming a ball. Repeat with the remaining dough and truffles.
  9. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft and gooey.
  11. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  12. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  13. Enjoy!
