  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a financier mold.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the hazelnut flour, all-purpose flour, and granulated sugar.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat, then add it to the dry ingredients.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy, then fold them into the batter.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared mold and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow the financiers to cool in the mold for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
