Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and maple syrup.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chopped pecans.

Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a log, approximately 12 inches long.

Place the logs onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
