Mango Cream Scones

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and beaten egg.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times to bring it together.

Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut into 8 wedges.
