Peel back the husks of the corn, leaving them attached at the base. Remove the silk strands from the corn and fold the husks back into place.

Place the corn on the grill and cook for 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and lightly charred.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and black pepper.

Remove the corn from the grill and carefully peel back the husks.

Spread the lime-cilantro butter evenly over the corn.
