Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the lemon zest and lemon juice.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Meanwhile, prepare the truffle ganache by heating the heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the white chocolate. Stir until smooth and creamy. Stir in the truffle oil.
