Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.

In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.

Pour the blueberry mixture into the pie crust.

Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of butter.
