Kiss Cookies were originally made with a signature Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss on top, hence the name.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix well.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Roll the dough into small balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once the cookies are cooled, dust them with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
