  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle shape.
  5. Spread cream cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle colored sugar over the cream cheese.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from one of the long sides.
  8. Join the ends of the roll to form a ring shape.
  9. Place the ring on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  11. Bake the king cake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Let the cake cool completely.
  13. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
  14. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
