  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the kabocha squash into small cubes and steam until tender.
  3. In a food processor, combine the steamed squash, flour, butter, sugar, eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Process until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough and press it into a tart pan.
  5. Pour the kabocha mixture into the tart shell and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the tart is set and golden brown.
  7. Allow the tart to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
