Preheat the frying pan on medium heat.

Cut the kabocha squash into small pieces and steam until soft.

Mash the steamed kabocha squash and set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the mashed kabocha squash, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Grease the frying pan with butter and pour the batter into the pan.

Cook the cake on medium-low heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges start to set.

Flip the cake and cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
