Bitesize Cakes
Bitesize cakes are also known as cake pops or cake balls. They originated from the cake scraps left over from trimming cakes to make them level.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 55 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 9.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a mini muffin tin.

In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Spoon batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dip the tops of the cakes into the assorted sprinkles.
