  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and knead in the diced jalapeno peppers and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased bread pan. Cover with a clean towel and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
