  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Flatten each ball with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
