  3. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch (6 cm) thickness.
  7. Use star-shaped cookie cutters to cut out cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and food coloring to make the icing.
  11. Drizzle the icing over the cooled cookies and let it set.
