In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add vermicelli and cook until golden brown.

Stir in rice, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
