Homemade Cinnamon Swirl Bread

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Heat the milk until warm and add it to the dry ingredients along with melted butter and egg. Mix well to form a dough.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.

In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dough.

Roll up the dough tightly from one end to form a log.

Place the log in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the bread for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
