  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the raisins, chopped walnuts, and red wine.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the hermits cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the hermits to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, dust the hermits with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
