Rinse the quinoa under cold water.

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the quinoa. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.

In a separate saucepan, heat the almond milk, dried figs, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Once the quinoa is cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Pour the almond milk mixture over the quinoa and stir well.

Serve the porridge in bowls and top with chopped almonds and fresh berries.
