  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add flour and stir constantly until the mixture forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
  5. Gradually add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in chopped hazelnuts.
  7. Spoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
  8. Pipe a ring shape onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  11. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  12. Cut the cooled pastry in half horizontally.
  13. Fill the bottom half with whipped cream.
  14. Place the top half back on.
  15. Dust with icing sugar.
  16. Serve and enjoy!
