  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a food processor, blend hazelnuts until finely ground. Add dark chocolate and pulse until combined.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine ground hazelnut mixture, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the torte to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, slice the torte in half horizontally. Spread a layer of whipped cream on the bottom half, then top with sliced strawberries. Place the top half of the torte on top.
  8. Serve the hazelnut, chocolate, and strawberry torte with remaining whipped cream and fresh strawberries on the side.
