Have Some Cookies With Your Morsels
The first chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938. She ran out of baking chocolate, so she chopped up a chocolate bar and added it to the cookie dough, expecting it to melt and create chocolate cookies. Instead, the chocolate pieces stayed intact and the chocolate chip cookie was born!
