Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.

Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Make an indentation in the center of each dough ball and fill with a tablespoon of fruit preserves.
