  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the green onions, Swiss cheese, and Parmesan cheese. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until it comes together. Pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick. Cut the circle into 8 wedges. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown. Allow the scones to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
