  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cupcake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and fill each liner 2/3 full with the batter.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool completely.
  6. In the meantime, roll out the black fondant and cut out 12 square shapes to resemble graduation caps.
  7. Roll out the yellow fondant and cut out 12 small circles to represent the tassels.
  8. Place a mini peanut butter cup upside down on top of each cupcake.
  9. Attach the black fondant square to the peanut butter cup using a small amount of buttercream frosting.
  10. Place the yellow fondant circle on top of the black square using a small amount of buttercream frosting.
  11. Dust the tassel with edible gold dust for an extra touch of elegance.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
